1987 born in Aarau (CH), lives and works in Schönewerd (CH)
Already in his early childhood, he discovered his passion and fascination for figurative painting. At the age of twelve, he first came into contact with the subculture of "Graffiti," which significantly influenced David Monllor's work. Through contacts made in the urban art scene, he was able to embark on various journeys and create murals both domestically and abroad.
This was followed by solo and group exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, and the USA. As a self-taught artist, David Monllor develops and perfects his techniques with spray paint and oil. Since 2013, he has been dedicated to oil painting as his main profession, leading to a natural shift in his work from walls to canvas.
In his current series titled "Mundane," he documents everyday life and his homeland. The focus is on inconspicuous snapshots of urban scenes and landscapes.
