In this tribute exhibition, we warmly invite you to step into the fascinating, multifaceted, and fantastical worlds of two outstanding artists.

With every line, every brushstroke, every shape, and every hue, their works reveal a language that is timeless and deeply individual. Their art is more than an expression of personal experiences—it is a reflection of humanity, beauty, and the fragility of our world. Personal stories, encounters, passions, as well as impressions of places and landscapes, merge in their work to create a Gesamtkunstwerk—a total work of art—that not only touches but profoundly moves the viewer.

Dirk Sommer (1954–2024) was a master of color and expressive form. His oil paintings captivate with their impressive color intensity and unmistakable expressive power.

Raymond-Émile Waydelich (1938–2024)
was a truly universal artist whose oeuvre spanned paintings, sculptures, and ceramics to bronze works, assemblages, and paper art—each piece a testament to his tireless creative spirit.
