Stephan Spicher works since 1978 in his studios in Basel and Maggia, near Locarno - concentrated on painting and drawing. During his travels and working stays in Asia, Russia and Indochina Spicher finds again and again approaches and inspirations for his central theme Blooming - fading "Blooming and fading seems to be one, something that I Can't separate from each other." His entire oeuvre is subject to a continuous change and from the general question of life and the search for the forces forces that are behind everything - which energies are it that cause that bring about movement and change?
