Jacek Sroka's subject area is as diverse as life. He paints it almost exclusively with a lot of irony, sometimes also sarcasm: people, animals, everyday situations, in the most varied of places. His work is often socially critical and almost grotesque. It also contains references to literature, art and history.
All this also applies to the graphic artist and draftsman Sroka. He is a graphic artist in the classic sense, whereby his etchings are characterized by his exceptional technical knowledge
award. Recently Sroka has been particularly valued in China, where he repeatedly teaches his printing techniques as an "artist in residence" in workshops.
